A 1-day recertification course for learners who hold an eligible Canadian Red Cross Intermediate First Aid CPR Level C certificate, or an unexpired Standard First Aid CPR Level C certificate issued before June 22, 2026.

- Re-certification is allowed only once per full certification.
- Eligible certificates include Canadian Red Cross Intermediate First Aid CPR Level C, or an unexpired Standard First Aid CPR Level C certificate issued before June 22, 2026.
Requirements
- Proof of current active certification is required on the day of the course.
- Attend all in-class sessions.
- Demonstrate required skills.
- Score 75% or higher on the written test.
Important WSIB Update (Effective June 22, 2026):
Standard First Aid is now called Intermediate First Aid. Certificates issued before June 22, 2026 remain valid until expiry. No retraining or early renewal is required.
